Cleaning out the fuel tank
This was work done in preparation for taking the car to the Simeone museum for the Spirit of Saab display. In the spirit of the museum, I wanted to be sure it was a running car.
The fuel tank was in good condition, but had a lot of varnish in it. The outlet was completely clogged and it meant the car could only idle, and that only barely. It couldn't get enough fuel to run.
